Tea Garden - Green Tea with Sweet Berry & Rose Sample Sachet
Tea Garden took Gold at the Golden Leaf Awards. Australian grown sencha with strawberry, raspberry, apple pieces, rosehips, orange peel, hibiscus and rose petals. The berries and rose sit on top of a genuinely good green tea base rather than covering up a poor one, which is the difference between this and most flavoured greens.
It is the tea we are asked about most, and four serves is the least committal way to find out whether a green tea with fruit in it is your thing. If you have only ever had plain green, this is a very different proposition.
Cool the boiled water to about 80 degrees and steep for one to two minutes only. That is short, and it is deliberate. Over steeping brings the hibiscus forward and turns a delicate cup sharp. It is excellent iced at the same short steep.
$3.50 here, $16.00 for the 100g pouch. Tea Garden in full size, the green tea collection for the plain ones, and the iced picks for summer.
