Sourced from one the oldest and highest plantations in the mist-shrouded mountain ranges of Darjeeling, India, this first flush black tea displays all the typical characteristics of this famous, high grown tea.
Spring Flush, popularly known as the First Flush is famous for its fresh flavour and is the most sought after of the Darjeeling teas. The tea is plucked immediately after the harsh winter during March and April and is bountiful with fresh flavour resulting from its extreme growing conditions.
This mildly oxidised tea is light on the palate with a smooth clean flavour. Thin bodied, with a light coloured infusion and a floral aroma.
Enjoy this soft and mellow tea on its own.

1tsp tea per cup.
Allow freshly boiled water to cool slightly to 90 degrees. Infuse 3-4min.
Best enjoyed on its own.
No milk.
First flush Darjeeling is the champagne of the tea world — the earliest spring harvest from the high altitude gardens of West Bengal, picked when the leaves are at their most delicate and complex. This is for the tea connoisseur who understands why timing and altitude matter, who drinks without milk to let the muscatel character fully express itself, and who finds genuine excitement in the idea that a tea harvested once a year, from a specific place, at a specific moment, can taste like nothing else on earth.
