Organic rooibos from the Cedarberg mountains in the Western Cape, plain, with nothing blended into it. Rooibos is not tea and never contained caffeine, so nothing has been taken out of it. Slightly sweet, nutty, and low in tannin, which means it does not turn bitter no matter how long you leave it.
It is the closest caffeine free thing to a normal cup of tea with milk, and that is the specific job people buy it for. Four serves is enough to test it as an evening replacement for your usual builder's brew, which is the only test that matters here.
A teaspoon in freshly boiled water for two to three minutes, and then you can forget about it. Because the tannin is low, leaving it steeping while you drink it does no harm at all. Good with milk, good with a slice of lemon, good chilled.
