Organic liquorice root from India, on its own, with nothing blended into it. It is intensely and naturally sweet without a grain of sugar, and it is caffeine free. Most people meet it as a background note in a digestive or chai blend and have never had it neat.
Neat liquorice root is a lot. It is genuinely sweeter than people expect and four serves is the right way to discover that, both because of the intensity and because this is a herb to enjoy occasionally rather than by the litre.
A caution worth reading first. Liquorice root is not suitable if you are pregnant, if you have high blood pressure, or if you have heart or kidney concerns, and it should not be drunk in large or constant amounts. Speak to your doctor or pharmacist if any of that applies to you.
