Organic Jasmine Green Tea Sample Sachet
Organic Chinese green tea scented with jasmine flower and jasmine oil. Jasmine green was one of the first flavoured teas to leave China by ship in the late 1800s, and it is still the most popular scented green in the world. Sweet and floral over a fresh grassy finish.
Scented teas are strongly personal. Some people find jasmine intoxicating and others find it soapy, and no description settles that argument. Four cups does, for $3.50.
Cool the boiled water to around 80 degrees and steep two to three minutes. Over steeping is what turns jasmine from floral to perfumed, so watch the clock on this one more than most. Drink it on its own, without milk and without sugar, at least for the first cup. The leaf will give you a second infusion if you go straight back in, and the jasmine is softer the second time around, which is worth using one of your four serves to find out.
$3.50 against $16.00 for 100g. Jasmine Green in full size, and the green tea collection holds the unscented ones if you want to compare.
