Greek mythology tells us the story of Calypso, the nymph who lured our hero Oydessus to her island and kept him captive there for seven years. Here in this bountiful place he had everything his heart desired except for one thing; his freedom. She was eventually persuaded by Zeus to release him so that he may continue on his epic voyage.
