Choc Berry (With a Hint of Mint) Sample Sachet
Choc Berry is brewed from the roasted outer husk of the cacao bean, not from tea leaf. Blended with strawberry, apple, rosehips, hibiscus, rose petals, orange peel and just enough peppermint to lift it. It smells strongly of chocolate and tastes far less sweet than it smells, which surprises most people.
That gap between the smell and the taste is the reason to buy four serves rather than a pouch. If you are expecting drinking chocolate you will be disappointed, and if you are expecting a dry, cocoa edged herbal you will probably be delighted. Better to find out for $3.50.
One teaspoon in freshly boiled water for three to four minutes, on its own. Cacao husk needs the full boil and the full time or it tastes like nothing at all.
$3.50 here, $14.00 for the 100g pouch. Choc Berry in full size, and the rest of the caffeine free blends in the herbal collection.
