Black Forest Sample Sachet

Black Forest is a full bodied black tea carrying strawberry, raspberry, apple pieces, rosehips, orange peel, hibiscus and rose petals. It is sweet and fruity with a tart edge from the hibiscus, and it smells like the tin has been opened long before you get to the cup.

This is the sachet for anyone who thinks flavoured black teas are usually too sweet or too artificial. Four serves gives you enough to test that opinion properly, and enough to make one pot for someone else and see what they say.

A teaspoon per cup, freshly boiled water, three to four minutes. It takes milk if you want it, but the berry reads much clearer without. Brew it double strength and pour it over ice for the version most people end up preferring in summer.
