Australian Billy Tea Sample Sachet

Billy Tea is black tea blended with peppermint gum and lemon scented gum leaf. The eucalypt is the whole point of it, and it is the thing people either love on the first cup or never come round to. That is exactly why it is worth meeting in a small quantity first.

Four serves is enough to drink it three or four mornings running and find out whether the bush note settles into something you want in the cupboard, or whether it stays a novelty. A single cup will not tell you. Four will.

Brew a teaspoon in freshly boiled water for three to four minutes. Drink it black the first time so the eucalypt has nowhere to hide, then try it with a dash of milk on the second cup and see which way you prefer it.
