Organic hibiscus tea, made from crushed dried hibiscus flower. Bright crimson in the cup, sharp and fruity, and naturally caffeine free. Crushed rather than whole, which means it brews faster and gives up more of its colour.

Hibiscus Flower is high in Vitamins A & C and rich in anti-oxidants. Studies suggest that hibiscus may help to treat high blood pressure and maintain healthy levels of cholesterol. It also acts as an anti-inflammatory which is good for digestive health and may relieve symptoms of arthritis. Hibiscus aids in detoxification and liver health. Its bright crimson colour and tartness makes a delicious tea to enjoy on its own or add a dash of sweetener. Can be served hot or as a refreshing iced tea.

How to brew. One heaped teaspoon per cup. Water straight off the boil, 100 degrees. Steep five minutes for a bright cup, longer if you want it sharper. Serve hot, or brew double strength, cool it and pour over ice.

1tsp hibiscus flower per cup.
Infuse in freshly boiled water 2-3min.
Perfect on its own or add sweetener to taste
One of the most visually dramatic teas in the range — deep crimson in the cup, sharply tart, and unmistakably itself. Hibiscus is rich in anthocyanins with well-documented antioxidant properties, and it has been used in traditional medicine across Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America for centuries.

It suits those who like their tea bold and bright, those who prefer cold-brewed fruit teas in summer, and those who want something genuinely different in both colour and character.
