Chai Spiced Latte Sample Sachet
Chai Spiced Latte is a powder rather than a leaf. Panela sugar, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, ground aniseed and a little salt and pepper, blended so that all you do is add hot milk. There is no tea in it, so no caffeine.
Four serves is the right size to find out whether you want the convenience. A stovetop chai takes ten minutes and a saucepan. This takes a spoon and a mug, and the trade is a sweeter, softer, less complex cup. Some people much prefer it. Some people try it once and go back to the leaf.
A teaspoon per cup, hot milk of whatever kind you drink, stir. Oat milk suits it best because it is already sweet and thick. Do not add water, it goes thin immediately.
$3.50 against $8.95 for the 100g pouch, which makes this one of the smaller gaps in the range. The full size is here, and the latte blends hold the other one you stir into milk.
