Every blend we make starts the same way. Small batches, mixed by hand, here in Margaret River. So it meant a great deal when the judges at the Australian Golden Leaf Awards picked out some of our favourites.
The Golden Leaf Awards are run by Australian Tea Masters. Every tea is tasted blind by a panel of tea masters, chefs, winemakers, coffee specialists and food and wine writers. They score what is in the cup: colour, aroma, flavour, mouthfeel and how it all comes together.
Gold 2025, Tea Garden
Australian grown green tea with sweet forest berries and rose petals. Berries and rose on the nose. In the cup, a light, clean green tea with a natural sweetness from the fruit. Lovely hot or iced.
Silver 2025, Out of Africa Organic Rooibos Chai
South African rooibos with warm spices. Naturally caffeine free, so it suits any hour of the day.
Bronze 2025, Organic English Breakfast
Robust Indian teas with notes of warm toast and honey. A proper morning cup, with milk or without.
Silver 2018, Golden Turmeric Chai
An earlier favourite with the judges. Turmeric, cinnamon, pepper and nutmeg in a golden, gently spiced cup.
